Windows: Running DokuWiki on your computer
DokuWiki is a lightweight wiki designed for straightforward documentation. It stores all pages as plain text, so it needs no database and remains easy to back up, move, or edit. Its syntax—simple but expressive—keeps files readable both inside and outside the wiki.
Storing content as plain text has several advantages. You don’t need to run a database such as MySQL on the server hosting your wiki, and backups or duplicates are easy to create.
