Navigator Theme Demo

Navigator is a clean, structured theme built on DokuWiki’s current default template.
The purpose of this site is to demonstrate the possibilities of the Navigator's top bar functionality.
Here, after installing DokuWiki, I added Navigator through the extensions panel
to bring immediate organization to this wiki.
The Navigator theme automatically creates topic-lists, each one mapped to a DokuWiki namespace.
The result is a predictable, book‑like structure where articles naturally group themselves by topic in sortable lists.

How topics work in Navigator

  1. Topic categories are automatically listed on the drop down menu.
  2. Topics without a “start” page will not be listed on the dropdown menu.
  3. Each listed topic takes us to its start-page.
  4. At first, you add the following marker to that page:
    ~~AUTOINDEX~~
  5. The marker will tell Navigator to always display an automatic list of all articles from that namespace. You can place the marker alone or after your own introduction. Either way, the marker will stay invisible when rendered.
NOTE: to make the marker invisible, the Navigatorlabels plugin must be active. This happens automatically when installing the Navigator theme via the Admin Extension panel.
