Customization Options in Navigator

Navigator expands on the customization offered by the default DokuWiki template.

The following visual elements can be adjusted directly in the Admin Template Manager:

• Logo — color and font style
• Outer and inner site panels — background colors
• Top bar — text color, background color, and label description (in Config Manager)
• Topics bar (inner top bar) — text and background colors
• Start‑page automatic lists — text color, background color, and font style
• Start‑page list bullets — color (useful for hinting internal links)

Additional customization is available in the Admin Configuration Manager, under the NavigatorLabels plugin section:

• Topic, Latest, Oldest, A‑Z — labels can be renamed to match your site’s vocabulary
• Custom Link — label can be renamed and the destination URL changed
• AUTOINDEX marker — can be customized
  Note: avoid changing this after you’ve been using it for a while
• Alphabetical sorting rules — you may add or remove terms
  Leaving this field blank means sorting will always use the first character found

The current default sorting covers English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish terms.
More terms can be added or removed:

a, as, o, os, um, uma, uns, umas,
the, an,
el, la, los, las,
un, una, unos, unas,
l’, d’, qu’
